Last week, the studio head at Treyarch Studios was forced to resign after a series of tweets were posted. David Vonderhaar was asked by 'someone he respects' to step down as lead studio head of Treyarch. Vonderhaar or "Vahn" as he's known in the Call of Duty community has stated that he will no longer have anything to do with the Call of Duty franchise going forward, leading people to speculate that the studio head was fired by Activision. The tweets were since deleted and Vahn's account was deactivated for a short period of time after the tweets were made, but reactivated with the tweets deleted and now David Vonderhaar has no traces of Call of Duty on his twitter profile.
It's sad to see that we live in a time where anything political posted on social media can make a man lose his job. You will be missed and your absence will certainly be felt at Treyarch with the next Treyarch Call of Duty title coming next year in 2020.
Good luck in yourfuture endeavors and god speed, Vondy.
