The Playstation 2 is officially 20 years old today! Happy birthday to one of the best consoles of all time! :) Did you own a PS2? What was your favorite game for it? What was the first PS2 game you experienced? My first was NHL 2001. The graphics at the time blew me away.

Unfortunately, I never owned a PS2. When it came out, I was born four years later. By the time it was discontinued, I was 8, and I got my first console (the Wii U) when I was 9.
One thing I learned about being born in the early 2000's? There are so many good games and websites that I missed.

Happy birthday to the PS2 :) !

I never owned one myself, but I do remember them being new and popular, and... wow, this makes me feel old >_< .

Huh, I had no idea. Happy belated birthday to it then! I remember them being impossible to find. I was so happy when I got one for Christmas.

Yeah, I got one not long after launch, but then my brother broke it like 2 months into owning one. We had to wait another 2-3 months before we could find another.

I remember going through around 3 of em. Not all at once. Had some that would stop reading games discs, and another that kept scratching em. One reason I rarely will play dvd's in game systems much.
